Cloud Signing Ceremony Between Sinoma(Suzhou) and Western Cement for Ethiopia Lemi 10,000t/d Project
On July 15, Sinoma(Suzhou) Construction Co., Ltd. signed EPC contract with West International Holding Limited for construction project of 10,000t/d Clinker Cement Production Line in Ethiopia Lemi Building Materials Industrial Park. The signing ceremony was held simultaneously in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, China and Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia. Western Cement Board Chairman Zhang Jiming, President Wang Fayin; Board Chairman of East African Holding S.C Dr. Buzuayehu Tadele; Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sinoma International (Nanjing) Shen Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Sinoma (Suzhou) Lin Zhong, and the leadership team and personnel of relevant departments of Sinoma (Suzhou) attended this cloud signing ceremony.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Sinoma (Suzhou) Lin Zhong and President of Western Cement Wang Fayin signed the contract separately as the signing representatives. The project, jointly invested by West International Holdings Limited and East Africa Holdings S.C is the first cement production line of 10,000t/d capacity in Ethiopia and Africa. This project locates in Lemi Town, Amhara State, Ethiopia. Its general contracting scope includes project engineering, procurement of M&E equipment and materials, equipment supervision and transportation, construction works, installation works, commissioning and trial production, up-to-standard assessment, personnel training, etc.
Lin Zhong said this cloud signing ceremony has important milestone significance. He expressed the gratitude for the great trust and support of Western Cement. With the heavy responsibility, Sinoma(Suzhou) will make a concentrated effort, the careful organization and the high standard positioning to achieve a high starting point and the high efficiency execution, ensure the safety and quality of the project performance as scheduled, and strive to build the project into a high-quality 10,000t/d production line as the benchmark with leading performance indexes in the African continent. Both sides will take this as an opportunity and a start to seek new models of cooperation for win-win development and make greater contributions to the common pursuit of the international market.
Shen Jun, on behalf of Sinoma International (Nanjing), expressed warm congratulations on the successful signing of the project and heartfelt thanks to Western Cement for its trust and support. He stressed that the layout of the 10,000t/d production line of Lemi Building Materials Industrial Park reflects the strategic vision of Western Cement. As always, we will carefully organize and make full use of the advanced technology and the accumulated local engineering construction resources and experience of Sinoma International (Nanjing) and Sinoma(Suzhou) to provide excellent services for the whole process of the project. He hopes that the two companies, which have a long history of cooperation, will start a new chapter of win-win cooperation on the global stage.
Zhang Jiming highly praised and fully affirmed the excellent performance of the Western Cement projects undertaken by Sinoma International (Nanjing) and Sinoma(Suzhou) in the past. He hopes that both sides would continue to cooperate closely in the strategic layout of the globalization of Western Cement.
