Successful Grid-Connection of Sinoma (Suzhou) Iraq DCC 50MW PV Project
Recently, Sinoma (Suzhou) Iraq DCC 50MW PV project was successfully connected to the grid and generated electricity.

Mr. Omar, Deputy CEO of Delta Cement Company, Mr.Tian Houzhong, Director of the Production and Operation Center of Sinoma(Suzhou) , Mr.Gong Teng, Project Manager of the O&M Project of KRG, Mr. Li Haining, Project Manager of DCC Line II, as well as the representatives of Delta's management team, and representatives of Sinoma(Suzhou) project team witnessed this historic moment together.

Mr. Omar stated that as a significant measure for Delta Cement Company to practice green and sustainable development, DCC 50MW PV project will help DCC Cement plant reduce costs, increase efficiency, save energy and reduce emissions, and bring about good social and economic benefits. Furthermore, Mr. Omar expressed expectations for Delta Cement Company and Sinoma(Suzhou) to further deepen their cooperation in the the field of green and clean energy.

During the project construction process, the project team overcame challenges such as steep mountain slopes and difficulties in logistics and transportation, strictly controlled safety and quality, efficiently promoted the progress of the project, and completed key node tasks such as design planning, construction, commissioning and grid connection on time. The outstanding performance demonstrated Sinoma(Suzhou)’s strong execution capabilities and profound professional accumulation.
The Iraq DCC 50MW PV project is not only a powerful testimony to the deepening cooperation between Sinoma(Suzhou) and DELTA in the field of clean energy, but also an important footnote for the two parties to work together to explore diversified development. Next, the project department will continue to work hard to complete various performance assessments, improve system operation efficiency, ensure the long-term stable operation of the PV power station, and lay a solid foundation for the company to further expand its overseas PV business.
