Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Nigeria, Conducts Inspection Visit to the Lithium Mine Project
On February 4, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Nigeria, visited the company's lithium mine project site for an inspection and research visit.
Governor Sule and his delegation conducted an in-depth inspection of the lithium mining site to assess the project's execution progress and listened to a project work report. He first extended his Lunar New Year greetings to all Chinese staff, expressing his gratitude for their dedication and commitment to work during this important traditional festival. He also highly commended the project's progress and praised SINOMA's efforts in safety and environmental management, job creation for the local community, and the professional skills development of local employees.
During the discussion meeting Governor Sule emphasized that SINOMA’s outstanding achievements in Africa, particularly its cooperation with the Dangote Group, have gained global recognition. He expressed his hope that SINOMA would apply its advanced technologies and management expertise from other projects to lithium mining, further enhancing safety and environmental management efficiency as well as project execution effectiveness. Additionally, he looked forward to expanding collaboration with SINOMA in more fields. Governor Sule also assured that the Nigerian government would provide full support for mine security, public infrastructure development, and other essential aspects to ensure the smooth operation of the lithium mine project.
Accompanying the visit were Diamond Company shareholder and director Chen Qiang, COO Xiong Jing, Procurement Dept.Manager Li Wen, and Zhu Defeng, Deputy General Manager of Sinoma NJZC International Construction Nigeria Limited.
