Sinoma (Suzhou) Signed EPC Contract of Iraq Saman 5300t/d Cement Production Line2
Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co., Ltd. signed the EPC contract of Iraq Saman 5300t/d cement production line2 with KAAI (Khairat Al-Abar Al-Iraqiya Co. for Oil and Gas Services and General Trade) of Wataniya Group at headquarter of Wataniya Group in Sulaymaniyah on May 31st. Xu Yaping, Executive Deputy General Manager of Sinoma (Suzhou), and Hoshmand Omar, CEO of KAAI, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
Iraq KAAI Company is Sinoma (Suzhou)’s VIP client. Since the EPC contract of Saman line1 project was signed in 2014, the site teams of both sides have overcome the adverse natural factors such as hot and dry summer and the social environmental impacts such as unrest caused by IS organization, and successfully realized the ignition and production in 2017. The cement production line has been running smoothly with excellent performance indicators and stable cement quality. It has produced great economic benefits and won high praise from the Owner.
In recent years, the domestic situation in Iraq is stable, the business environment is positive, and the demand for cement is strong. The company closely followed the Owner’s demand to increase production capacity, grasped the opportunity, actively provided various construction schemes for the Owner, and finally successfully signed the Saman line2 project.
This contract signing is a new beginning for further deepening cooperation between the two sides, and also an important symbol of the consolidation and deep development of the Iraqi market. The execution of the contract will be well and efficiently organized as always to create a demonstrative project which will lay a solid foundation for undertaking more projects related to cement engineering and production operation & maintenance in Iraq to achieve high-quality development in the future.
