Ningxia Building Material Group Capacity Replacement 5000t/d NSP Cement Production Line Project Constructed by Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co., Ltd. Won National Quality Engineering Award



On January 7th, the list of the first batch of winners of National Quality Engineering Award of 2022-2023 year was announced. Ningxia Building Material Group Capacity Relocation 5000t/d NSP Cement Production Line Project, which was contracted by Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinoma (Suzhou) for short), was listed in it. This is the fourth time that the company has won this award following Hebei Jidong Cement Plant 4000t/d Cement Production Line project, Shanshui Group Zichuan 5000t/d Cement Production Line project, and Liaoning Jiaotong Cement 5000t/d Cement Production Line project.

The project is located in Dahe Town, Hongsibao District, Wuzhong City, Ningxia Province. It is invested and constructed by Wuzhong Saima New Building Materials Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Ningxia Building Materials Group. It is a new generation digital intelligent cement plant designed on the basis of the idea of "Digitalization, Intelligence and Green" and adopts the international advanced "2nd Generation New Dry Process Technology" with high standard and high starting point.

From the start, Sinoma (Suzhou) was striving for the National Quality Engineering Award as the goal, and implementing refined management throughout the whole process. The company overcame the adverse factors such as the remote location of the project, inconvenient equipment transportation, complex geology, harsh climatic conditions, and the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The company overcame the construction technical difficulties brought by the tight project schedule, multiple sub-items, wide working face, multiple cross operations and the application of a large number of new technologies and new equipment, and finally achieved the completion and production on schedule.

The project has fully applied 9 items and 30 sub-items technology of the "10 New Technologies in Construction Industry" popularized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and innovatively applied a series of key technologies such as "BIM visual construction technology" and "equipment remote monitoring and commissioning technology", all of which have achieved good results. The project involves 54 unit projects and 155 work sections and items. The handover and acceptance rate of civil works and installation works is 100%. In the process of construction, the project formed two provincial construction methods, and two applied technologies won the first prize of CNBM Technology Innovation Award, and successfully realized the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements. The project has also been awarded the "2021 Annual Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Plant" by four Ministries of China, the "2022 Pilot Demonstration Project of Integrated Development of New Generation Information technology and Manufacturing Industry" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the "2022 Intelligent Plant and Green Plant" by Department of Industry and Information Technology of Ningxia Province. It is the Green Construction two-star Project appraised by China Construction Enterprise Management Association, won the Excellent Engineering Design Award of Building Materials Engineering Construction Association, Quality Engineering Award and Industry Science and Technology Demonstration Project.

This project is a capacity reduction replacement project for industrialization poverty alleviation. The construction site is the main battlefield of the national large-scale water conservancy project -- the Yanghuang irrigation project for poverty alleviation in Ningxia, which is the largest ecological poverty alleviation migrant concentration area in China. After the completion of the project, it greatly promoted the development of relevant local industries and was praised as "a model of poverty alleviation, a bridge of national unity and a demonstration of green development". At present, all performance indicators of the project are excellent. The comparable comprehensive coal consumption of clinker is 81.90kgce/t, the comparable comprehensive electricity consumption of clinker is 38.42 Kw.h/t, the comparable comprehensive energy consumption of clinker is 86.65kgce/t, the comparable comprehensive electricity consumption of cement is 61.23 Kw.h/t, and the comparable comprehensive energy consumption of cement is 75.50 Kw.h/t. Nitrogen oxide emission is less than 76mg, dust emission is less than 5mg, far better than the national 1-level standard. Advanced robot control technology is used, and only 67 employees are arranged in the whole line. With stable production, good economic benefits, and good demonstration effect, the project is highly appraised by the Customer.

Established in 1981, the National Quality Engineering Award is a national quality award in the engineering construction field set up by The State Council, which is the earliest, highest specifications, cross-industry and cross-specialty award.
