In Company with Medical Experts, Acting Consul General of China in Erbil Visited Our SCP Project in
On 30th March, local time in Iraq, Wang Xuhong, acting Consul General of Chinese Consulate General in Erbil, Han Mengjie, member of the expert group of the Red Cross Society of China to assist Iraq, Xu Yonghao, member of the academician team of Zhong Nanshan, visited our Iraq SCP O&M Project and instructed the epidemic prevention work.
Once the expert team arrived, they held an anti-epidemic information session.The project managers, safety management personnel, administrative and logistics personnel, medical personnel and leaders of subcontracting teams of Sinoma-Suzhou in Iraq, which in total 20 persons, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Pan Jian, deputy general manager of Sinoma Industry & Trade (Iraq) Company / Ltd, gave a warm welcome and sincere thanks to Wang Xuhong，the Consul General and to all the expert team members. Pan Jian reported the work concerning CCP building and production safety of the branch company in Iraq, and mainly introduced the anti-epidemic work plan, the prevention and control measures.
The expert team members introduced the basic situation and development trend of the current epidemic status in Iraq, the prevention and control measures taken by the Iraqi government, and the existing risks. They gave a specific explanation to the relevant knowledge, main characteristics, ways of transmission, main detection methods and prevention measures of the new coronavirus; answered questions; reviewed the company's epidemic prevention and control work plan; and offered the suggestion about the coronavirus’ prevention.
Wang Xuhong conveyed consul general Ni Ruchi's solicitude to all employees in Iraq. Ni Ruchi highly evaluated the company's epidemic prevention and control work, Party construction work, and the O&M management work. He pointed out that party members should take the lead in the current epidemic situation, project managers should fully perform their duties, put all prevention and control work in place, and to prepare and reserve sufficient epidemic prevention materials and living material at site. We should do best to protect the life safety and health of our Chinese employees.
After the explanation by the expert team members, the attendees ask questions about the actual situation of epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic, production and life. After receiving the professional and authoritative answers from the expert group, all members dispelled the worries and nerves. They said that the attention and concern of the consulate general made everyone feel warm and encouraged. After returning to the project, the new coronavirus epidemic prevention knowledge will be widely publicized to all employees, so that every employee can dispel their concerns, put down their ideological burden, implement epidemic prevention measures and work at ease, and fully cooperate with the company in epidemic prevention and control and work safety.
