Upgraded Cement Mill System Successfully Commissioned for Iraq DCC Line 1

On May 1, the upgraded cement mill system of the Iraq DCC Line 1 renovation project, undertaken by Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co., Ltd. on a general contracting basis, was successfully commissioned and put into operation, marking a crucial and solid milestone in the project construction progress.

Chairman Saad of Delta Project Owner extended warm congratulations on the successful completion of the production upgrading project of the No.1 cement mill at Iraq DCC. He highly recognized and greatly admired the professional competence, efficient execution and solid performance capability demonstrated by Sinoma Suzhou. He fully acknowledged the project team’s dedication in overcoming difficulties and pursuing excellence. On the occasion of International Workers' Day, he extended festive greetings and sincere blessings to all onsite construction staff stationed overseas, and looked forward to deepening bilateral cooperation for further achievements.

Delta Deputy CEO Omar delivered a speech. He stated that the successful commissioning of the DCC Line 1 Cement Mill Upgrading marks a key project milestone, shifting the project from construction to operation and maintenance to meet robust local market demand. He highly affirmed Sinoma’s efficient and high-quality construction performance. Omar noted that both sides will maintain close cooperation to ensure safe, stable and efficient mill operation, thanked all staff for their dedication, and wished full success for the project.

In the next phase of work, all staff of the project department will continue to uphold the enterprise spirit of perseverance, dedication and excellence in engineering construction. The team will further strengthen safety management, strictly control project quality, adhere to rigorous craftsmanship, and advance all follow-up works with higher standards and stricter requirements, striving steadily to achieve high-quality project performance and fulfill contractual commitments.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Delta employer side, including Ms. Shirin, CEO Secretary; Ms. Eman, Production Manager; and Mr. Awat, Site Manager. Also present from Sinoma Suzhou were company senior manager Tian Houzhong; Gong Teng, Project Manager of Kurdish region Operation and Maintenance; Lin Yanbing, Deputy General Manager of Iraq Industry & Trade Company; Huang Jie, Manager of the Steel Structure Plant; Li Haining, Project Manager of Iraq DCC Second Line Project, together with relevant staff from the DCC Production Support Team and the Second Line Project Department.
